Statement from Bluesfest:
“We are heartbroken to advise that Bluesfest 2020 and all shows presented by Bluesfest Touring cannot proceed currently. As you may no doubt be aware, the Australian Prime Minister announced and later the NSW Health Minister issued a Public Health (COVID-19 Public Events) Order 2020. This order is repealed at the beginning of 14 June 2020. Health Ministers across the Nation have done the same for their states. It is clear from the order, that all events of over 500 people are now banned, events include concerts, club dates and music festivals. Consequently the 2020 Bluesfest and all Bluesfest Touring shows cannot proceed. We are receiving a lot of supportive messages that are truly appreciated in this extraordinary time and we thank everyone for their continuous support.
We thank you for your patience and support in this unprecedented time and wish you all good health.”
