Due to recent announcements by the New Zealand Government, Boy & Bear’s Suck On Light Tour will no longer be going ahead at The Powerstation on Saturday, October 3rd 2020.
Please see statement below from the band:
“After lots of agonising, we've made the tough decision to cancel the New Zealand leg of our Suck On Light Tour. Covid-19 and the surrounding uncertainty and restrictions in Australia, plus uncertainty around travel allowances to get to you in NZ have created significant challenges rendering us unable to deliver the tour we intended for 2020.
We want to say an extra-special thank you to everyone who held on to their ticket this long for shows that now won’t go ahead. We know money has been tight for many people during this time, so it has been utterly heart-warming to see the amount of people who chose to hang onto their ticket to see us. We are beyond grateful for your support.
We recognise that to many people, these cancellations will be disappointing, as they are to us. We have been longing to get back to NZ where we have been so well supported since the early days of our career. Please know that we will be working hard towards a plan where we can get back out there and do what we love sooner rather than later.
For now, please follow the prompts on this mailer to collect your ticket refund.
Thanks so much for sticking with us through this crazy time. Much love, from Dave, Killian, Symes, Tim and Jon.”
How do I get my refund?
If you booked online or over the phone, the credit card you used to purchase your tickets will be refunded automatically. The refund process can take up to 5 days. Once processed, please allow 3-5 days for the funds to show on both your balance and statement.
If the credit card used to make this has changed, your original card has expired or is no longer valid (prepaid Visa and MasterCard included), you’ll need to contact our Customer Service Team requesting a refund with your bank account details. Please remember to include your order number in your request.
If your tickets were purchased from a Ticketmaster outlet, you’ll need to return to that outlet with the tickets and credit card used to make the booking.
